02/19 – Herbert Salzgeber is taking over the management of the Austrian subsidiary
Herbert Salzgeber has taken over the management of the Turck subsidiary in Austria. The 51-year-old business administration graduate is an established automation specialist with many years of experience in sales. Salzgeber will take over the position from Stephan Auerböck (47), who after more than 25 years left the company at the end of December at his own request. Auerböck aims to pursue a new direction outside of the automation sector.
“We are pleased to have found in Herbert Salzgeber a recognized automation professional, who has been heavily involved in the Austrian market for decades,” said Christian Wolf, managing director of the Turck Holding, about the change in management. “We are convinced that with Herbert Salzgeber we will not only be able to continue the development of Turck GmbH in Austria but also significantly increase growth. At the same time, we wish to thank Stephan Auerböck, who has been working for Turck since 1992 – firstly in sales for our former trading partner and after the founding of our own national subsidiary as sales manager and managing director.”
